As nostalgy I decided this time to make a medley with some of the songs, which George Shearing and his Quintet used to play in the old days. It is reharmonized, arranged and played by me using a Yamaha CP300 stage piano and the Cubase sequencer for the mixing, all in my digital hobby studio. The pictures have been shot by me - in 2011 - using a Panasonic G1 Lumix Camera. MrBruno1935

Jan 30, 2012 - Absolutely wonderful Bruno! George Shearing was one of my favourites, and you have captured the ensemble sound of his quintet perfectly - not just the vibes/guitar/piano instrumentation, but also the block chording by George, and the laid back feel of the group. Doug

Jan 31, 2012 - Hi Doug, George Shearing and his quintet impressed me a lot when I was young and the Swedish dance music group, where I played vibes used to perform many of George Shearings songs in those days. The audience on the dance floor also seemed to like it. Keep swingin´ Bruno
